Red, Orange, and Yellow..I'm loving these colours!

With all the fashion shows I've been watching, what mainly sticks out are all the warm colours that are being displayed on the runway. Specifically, there is a common trend of designers using red, orange, and yellows as key colours for their collection.  For both f/w and s/s, these colours are being (literally) highlighted on the runway (with varying hues of course). For example, Dolce & Gabbana featured a f/w collection full of various red hues, and with the s/s collections, designers like Hermes, Gustavolins, and John Galliano emphasize bright yellows, fiery oranges, and bold reds.

I personally love red and yellow and have alot of these colours in my own wardrobe. Orange on the other hand...I tend to stay away from. Finding the right shade of orange is so tricky, and then trying to match it up with other colours is hell (no pun intended).

Hermes S/S Menswear 2012

I just watched the Hermes S/S Menswear 2012 and I loved it all. Vèronique Nichanian kept the collection both simple and chic. The materials and cuts of the clothing looked so light and fluid (there  were turtleneck sweaters in the collection, but I'd totally wear them considering how comfortable they looked). I also loved the colour palette of this collection. Earth tones, with dark colours and a splash of bright colours...it was balanced so well.
