I realized how boring my wall is, so I decide to get creative. I had way to many images so I had to be selective and pic the images that I really loved. Overall, I like the final result :)

Vintage Clothing Sale Ottawa

Once a year, Ottawa has a massive Vintage clothing sale and this year I had a chance to go and check it out with some friends.

The sale took place in the Chateau Laurier in downtown Ottawa and admission was $8. I honestly didn't expect to to be a huge turnout, but I was quite surprised to see the place so pack. I barely had a chance to try anything on since it was so crammed, but I did make it out with a few things that really caught my eye. My friends also had a good time, they also but a lot more than I did (hah usually I'm the spender!).

Anyway, I really had a good time but next time I'm getting there early and having a lot more cash on me.

Voigtlander Vito CD

I just got back from the camera store and I was so happy to find out that my mom's old voigetlander camera was not broken. Clearly, its no digital camera but I still think it takes beautiful pictures (judging from what my mom showed me). The other bonus is that it doesn't require special film (I was afraid that it wouldn't take the film they have now). Still, the camera guy told me its not as "user-friendly" as the camera's we are used to today. But being the nice guy he is, he gave a crash course in how to adjust it and what settings it should be on depending on the lighting etc. I honestly don't expect to get amazing shots for the first few rounds of film, but I think I'll get the hang of it eventually.

 

Surrounded by inspiration

I have a habit of putting editorial pictures on my wall. It keeps me thinking and always inspires me to think outside the box. Check'em out!
