Wishlist - Can't Get Enough Converse

I've always been a huge fan of Converse All-Stars, and when I saw the new Chucks for Fall/Winter 2011 , I definitely put them on my wishlist.

With some of the new additions, Converse collaborated with Missoni and John Varvato to create some really interesting All-Star shoes. From texture to lining, these limited edition shoes bring a higher sophistication to a brand usually associated with skate culture. My personal favourite have to be the John Varvato collabs, specifically the studded Chucks. These shoes have a more urban feel and scream rock star.

In terms of where to gets these shoes, these shoes have limited distribution and are  available in Spain and in Barcelona. Hopefully, they make their way to North America...I really want a pair or two :)

These are my favourite! Lovin the studs :)

Charlie Le Mindu backstage - Paris Fashion Week.

Given how avant-garde this collection is, I love how tribal it looks. Thumbs up for Charlie Le Mindu.

Ato Spring/Summer 2012 - Tokyo Fashion Week

In reviewing the labels that presented at Tokyo Fashion Week (Mercedes - Benz Fashion Week) Ato Matsumoto collection really spoke to me.

The collection included both menswear and womenswear and the style was mostly streetwear. The highlight of Ato's collection included long slim fitting coats and blazers, which were double-breasted and had military detailing.

Overall, I really loved the simplicity of the collection, as well as the detailing on the coats and blazers. I also liked the colour palette, I felt it was sophisticated and refreshing.

Etoile Filante - Numéro Magazine - Sept 2011

I was flipping through the September Issue of Numéro and found these great editorial pictures titled Etoile Filante (meaning Shooting Star).

The images are stunning. I love the clothes and accessories the models are wearing, particularly the jeweled headpieces. I also love the chaos in these images, the messy hair and clothing give off a tribal impression, but also with some classy elements.
